Autosurfers

Drawing from the work of Helen Nissenbaum and Finn Brunton on obfuscation (the deliberate use of ambiguous, confusing, or misleading information to interfere with surveillance and data collection projects), I made a series of 'autosurfing' chrome extension apps that add random queries to your personal search and browsing history.

There are three apps in this series. One creates random google image search queries, one surfs random coordinates on google earth, and the third surfs wikipedia endlessly by selecting random links within articles.
